UW Medical Foundation Board of Directors: Ronald R. Anderson

Ronald R. Anderson, UW Medical Foundation Board MemberMr. Anderson is a public member of the UW Medical Foundation Board. Now retired, he served for 40 years in a variety of health care leadership roles. As principal and senior consultant at SSB Solutions, Inc., he helped more than forty physician groups and hospitals to plan and build clinically integrated delivery networks, strengthen physician alignment and develop strategies and partnerships to grow or defend market share.


Prior to his seven years with SSB Solutions, Mr. Anderson served in a variety of executive leadership roles with Dean Health System, Madison, Wis.; HealthPartners Ventures, Bloomington, Minn.; and the Mayo Foundation, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Rochester, Minn. His expertise encompasses the importance of patient-centered care delivery, clinical/operational efficiency, sound project management principles and strong physician leadership in building health care organizations of the future.


Mr. Anderson received his B.S. from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, and his M.S. degree from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, and studied for a PhD degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
