White Bean and Herb Dip

Serves 14



  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 (16 ounce) cans Great Northern beans, rinsed and drained
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper



  1. With the motor running, drop garlic clove into food processor or blender. Add Great Northern beans, lime juice and olive oil; puree until smooth. Add basil, thyme, salt and pepper; pulse until mixed well and herbs are coarsely chopped. Serve chilled. 


Quick tip: This also is good as a sandwich spread.
