This course will be taught in accordance with American Heart Association guidelines. The ACLS Experienced Provider course is for seasoned ACLS providers who wish to renew their provider status. The EEC recommends at least one regular ACLS renewal course prior to taking an EP course.
This course provides a stimulus for clinicians and scientists to identify areas in resuscitation that deal with special circumstances. More in-depth information and advanced techniques are demonstrated and special situations involving emergency resuscitation are discussed.
To cancel your registration you must call the Emergency Education Center at least three business days before the start of your scheduled class. If you cancel within the accepted timeframe, you will receive a credit for the full amount. If you cancel fewer than three business days before the start of your scheduled class, you will not receive a refund or credit. In the event that the Emergency Education Center must cancel a class due to low enrollment or because of an ill instructor, a makeup date will be provided or your payment can be refunded.
Professionals, physicians and health care professionals who frequently respond to emergency cardiovascular and special resuscitation situations in the work environment.
Please register for only one class session. That means only one roster registration OR one waitlist registration. Signing up for more than one class prevents other people from getting their certification. You must sign up for a class by 7AM the day before the class.
Please note: A current American Heart Association ACLS provider card is needed to verify current certification. If you do not have a card issued by the American Heart Association, please contact the EEC at (608) 263-7259 before registering. You also will need proof of current CPR status with either the American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers card or the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers.
