Programs and research
UW Health’s dermatopathologists are physicians with experience in the evaluation and diagnosis of skin tissue obtained by biopsies or excisions. When you have a biopsy or excision, our dermatopathologists will work closely with your physician to ensure a correct diagnosis and treatment plan.
A major focus of the Department of Dermatology with the UW–Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is skin disease research. Many of our clinicians lead research studies to advance our understanding of skin disease. Learn more about our research
There are many clinical trials involving both children and adults, including skin conditions in individuals with cancers or who have undergone organ transplants. Learn more about our clinical trials
