About
Dr. Scott Chaiet is an assistant professor and otolaryngologist in the Section of Facial Plastic Surgery of the Division of Otolaryngology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health Department of Surgery where he is actively involved in outcomes research and training the next generation of facial plastic surgeons. He is board certified in otolaryngology and fellowship trained in facial plastic surgery. His cosmetic specialties include rhinoplasty, both primary and revision, facelift, brow lift, eyelid surgery, and reconstructive surgery of the face including facial paralysis reanimation, facial trauma and skin cancer reconstruction after MOHS surgery. Dr. Chaiet also dedicates his practice to gender confirmation surgery including facial feminization surgery and facial masculinization surgery.
Dr. Chaiet leads the UW Facial Nerve Clinic and lectures nationally on patient reported outcomes after facial paralysis. He is also an advocate for LGBTQ health with focus on transgender care and is active in diversity efforts at UW Health, University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.
Dr. Chaiet’s research interests include functional rhinoplasty, patient reported outcomes in gender surgery, patient reported outcomes after facial nerve paralysis, and protective devices in facial trauma.
