Smokers and people age 50 and older with a family history of abdominal aortic aneurysm are also appropriate candidates for aortic screening.
Screening Information
Each screening is evaluated by a UW Health physician who specializes in vascular disease. Patients receive their preliminary test results immediately following the scan from a registered vascular technologist.
Screenings are offered on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, by appointment. Each screening is $70 and more than one test can be scheduled in one appointment. To schedule an appointment, call UW Health Preventive Cardiology at (608) 263-7420.
