Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy
Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) is a specialized type of external beam radiation therapy. This treatment delivers high dose of radiation therapy very precisely to a small area of the body in a total of approximately 1-6 outpatient treatments.
Your UW Health radiation oncologist will discuss your condition and make recommendations for your care. Stereotactic body radiation therapy may be used to treat tumors involving the lungs, liver, bones, or other body sites.
