Yinzhong Zhang, MD

Yinzhong Zhang, MD is a UW Health internal medicine physician who specializes in hospital medicine. He cares for adult patients during their hospital stay, providing expert treatment for a wide range of conditions, including infections, acute illnesses and chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease.

He is also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where he contributes to the education and training of future physicians.

While you’re in the hospital, Dr. Zhang will manage your care and collaborate with a team of specialists to ensure you receive the highest quality treatment. As your hospital stay comes to an end, he will work with you to arrange follow-up care, medications and any additional support you may need for a smooth transition home.
