About

Whitney Johnson, DPM is a UW Health podiatrist who specializes in caring for feet and ankles. She helps people with many common foot problems, including bunions, hammertoes, tendonitis, sports injuries, broken toes and feet, ingrown toenails and warts. She also treats wounds and helps save limbs for patients with open sores or diabetic foot issues.

Dr. Johnson enjoys all areas of podiatry, but she is especially interested in helping people with sports injuries and correcting foot deformities through surgery. Her goal is to help patients heal and get back to doing the things they love without pain.

Her care philosophy comes from her own experience as an athlete. After dealing with injuries to her legs and feet, she learned how important good care is for staying active. She believes in treating foot problems early so patients can feel their best and return to their favorite activities as soon as possible.

Outside of work, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her family and staying active. She loves playing pickleball and hiking with her rescue dog, Bailey. She also coached gymnastics and tumbling for 10 years and still cheers for her favorite college teams during gymnastics season. When she’s not outdoors or in the gym, she enjoys reading and exploring local bookstores.

You never realize how much your feet affect your quality of life until there is an issue. My goal is to help people feel 100% again and get back to doing what they love, pain free.
