Whitaker Myers, PhD

Whitaker Myers, PhD, earned his PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va. He completed his predoctoral internship at Pacific Psychology and Comprehensive Health Clinics and postdoctoral residency at Providence Health and Systems, where he developed his expertise in diabetes psychology and management of chronic illness. Whitaker takes a strengths-based approach to patient care and uses evidenced-based therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and solutions focused therapy. He believes that good clinical practice inspires hope, fosters resilience and is culturally congruent.
