About

Todd Woodhouse, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant specializing in inpatient orthopedic care.

Todd cares for patients in the hospital after surgery for bone, muscle and joint injuries. He collaborates with the surgical team to help people recover from joint replacement surgeries, including hip, knee and shoulder replacements. With a focus on hip care, Todd specializes in assisting patients after acute (sudden) hip fractures.

As part of the orthopedic inpatient team, Todd evaluates and treats patients in the emergency department. He provides personalized treatment plans and arranges follow-up care for individuals with acute injuries, such as fractures caused by falls or motor vehicle accidents.

Todd developed a lifelong passion for medicine after serving as a soldier medic in the U.S. Army. A lifelong learner, Todd takes time to educate patients on their conditions and treatment plans. Above all, he strives to empower his patients to take control of their recovery.

Outside of work, Todd enjoys mountain biking, traveling to new places and spending time with his loved ones.

I am committed to helping each of my patients understand their diagnosis, treatment plan and path to recovery.
