About

Teresa Lincicum, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner. She specializes in cardiovascular (heart and blood vessels) medicine with a focus on preventive care.

Teresa works as part of a multispecialty team to diagnose and treat patients with heart and valve diseases, atrial fibrillation (AFib) and other heart conditions. She treats individuals with chronic but manageable conditions and critically ill patients with complex heart diseases and complications. She also cares for patients who have structural heart defects, including valve and blood vessel abnormalities.

Education and preventive medicine are part of Teresa’s proactive approach to care. She evaluates patients’ medical history and current symptoms such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol. She listens to her patients’ goals and teaches them about their conditions and treatment options. She then helps them learn to manage their conditions and prevent or reduce their personal heart disease risks.

In her free time, Teresa likes to spend time with her family enjoying the outdoors.

It’s highly rewarding when we can help patients in their journey — whether they have acute or chronic heart disease.
