Stephanie Holt, NP

Stephanie Holt, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner who specializes in medical oncology. She works with oncologists (cancer care doctors) to treat many types of cancer and related symptoms or complications.

Stephanie assists with diagnostic testing and medical imaging. Stephanie prescribes medications and gives intravenous (IV) fluids to individuals who are receiving chemotherapy. She also helps people manage discomfort or side effects of cancer and cancer treatments.

Stephanie educates people about their condition, treatment options and procedures. If patients require a hospital stay, Stephanie assists with admission, related services and support. She listens with empathy and compassion, addressing each person’s unique challenges and concerns.

I decided to pursue a career in health care to make a difference in people's lives. From a young age, it has been my aspiration to provide comfort and support to others.
