Shannon Gedman, NP

Shannon Gedman, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner who provides advanced care for patients in the hospital undergoing orthopedic surgery. Shannon commonly cares for hospitalized patients undergoing surgery for hip and knee replacements, shoulder and rotator cuff disorders and hand and wrist injuries. She is part of a multidisciplinary care team that includes orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists providing pre- and post-operative care. Her goal with each patient is to help them recover and get back to feeling their best.

Being a nurse practitioner and assisting patients through their healthcare journey is very fulfilling work.
