Seth Dailey, MD

Seth Dailey, MD, is a UW Health otolaryngologist — or ENT (ear, nose and throat) doctor — and a professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Dailey treats patients of all ages with ENT conditions, including head and neck cancer, voice disorders, vocal cord paralysis, airway problems and swallowing disorders.

Dr. Dailey’s primary areas of interest are office-based procedures, vocal fold reconstruction and leukoplakia (precancerous lesions of the vocal folds). Along with his team members, he has the skills and expertise to diagnose and treat all types of ENT problems. Dr. Dailey enjoys forming long-term relationships with patients with chronic ENT conditions and seeing them improve over time.

He performs research on surgical education and surgical innovation. Dr. Dailey is active in fellowship and resident education and leads his students in projects related to voice, swallowing and airway disease.

Outside of work, Dr. Dailey enjoys playing tennis and cooking. He also spends time with his family playing and watching sports and making music.

One of the things that we do best is find answers. I feel fortunate to be part of a team that can offer a full menu of options tailored to what’s happening with someone.
