Sarah Panzer, MD, is a nephrologist (kidney specialist) at UW Health. Dr. Panzer treats a variety of kidney disorders. These include problems filtering toxins and autoimmune disorders that affect the kidneys.
Dr. Panzer cares for patients with chronic kidney diseases that progress slowly over time. She also treats acute (sudden) kidney failure due to injury or disease. She educates patients to ensure that they understand their diagnosis and available treatments so they can choose their best options.
Dr. Panzer is an assistant professor in the Division of Nephrology within the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
In her free time, Dr. Panzer enjoys reading and hiking.
