About

Sandra Lin, MD, is an otolaryngologist at UW Health and chair of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Surgery. Dr. Lin specializes in rhinology — the treatment of inflammatory conditions of the nose. She evaluates symptoms such as stuffy nose, runny nose and headaches. In addition, she treats sinusitis (sinus infections), septal deviation, nasal polyps and nasal allergies.

Dr. Lin’s specialized expertise includes sublingual immunotherapy (allergy drops) for pet, pollen and airborne allergies. She works closely with her patients to develop treatment plans that suit their goals and lifestyle.

Dr. Lin collaborates with other specialists at UW Health to treat conditions such as cystic fibrosis and sinusitis and symptoms such as loss of smell. Her research includes investigating the effectiveness of specific allergy treatments and risk factors for conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease.

In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, bicycling and relaxing with her family, including twins and two rescue dogs.
