About

Samantha Sharp, MD, is a UW Health integrative family medicine doctor. She provides health care to patients of all ages with both short-term and long-term health issues. Dr. Sharp is also a clinical assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health.

Dr. Sharp’s passion includes care for all ages, transgender medicine and treating headaches and integrative medicine, which includes medical hypnosis, osteopathic manipulation (using physical touch to diagnose and treat injury or illness), nutrition, herbs and supplements.

Dr. Sharp understands the importance of listening to her patients. She makes sure to leave plenty of time for questions during each appointment. By clearly explaining diagnoses and care options, she can relieve her patient’s stress and anxiety about their visit and their condition.

In her free time, Dr. Sharp enjoys traveling and writing.

I like to ask my patients what they want to do with their health, whether it’s hike or go on a trip. It’s inspiring to focus on achieving those health goals to make those things happen.
