Ryan Luellwitz, DO, is a UW Health obstetrician and gynecologist and clinical assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Luellwitz provides a full range of women’s health care, with a primary focus on obstetrics.

Dr. Luellwitz specializes in low and high-risk pregnancies. He also diagnoses and treats a range of female reproductive and menstrual issues and provides contraception management of all types, including long-acting reversible contraception (LARC), Nexplanon and IUD insertion.

Dr. Luellwitz’s care philosophy is patient focused. He listens to his patients’ concerns and offers guidance and education. He believes it’s important to work with his patients, using shared decision-making to determine the best care options to meet their needs.

Outside of work, Dr. Luellwitz enjoys cooking, practicing jujitsu, biking and spending time with his wife and children.

There’s nothing more rewarding than delivering babies and being around families as they experience one of the greatest joys in life.
