Roman Kagan, CAA

Roman Kagan, CAA is a UW Health certified anesthesiology assistant. Roman is an essential member of the anesthesia care team, contributing to safe, efficient and high-quality patient care before, during and after surgical procedures.

Working under the medical direction of an anesthesiologist, Roman provides preoperative assessment, anesthesia administration, intraoperative monitoring and after surgery care. CAAs are trained in the latest anesthesia technologies and evidence-based practices and enhance the delivery of anesthesia services.
