Renee Churchill, NP

About

Renee Churchill, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner specializing in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology.

From preoperative visits to postoperative support, Renee cares for patients throughout their heart transplant journey. She evaluates those with end-stage heart failure for a transplant or advanced therapy. She also assists in administering drug therapies to minimize organ rejection before and after surgery.

Dedicated to helping people get back to happy and fulfilling lives, Renee partners with patients to navigate the transplant process. She strives to alleviate her patients’ stress through open communication and shared decision-making. She collaborates with a team of specialists to ensure that her patients receive high-quality care in line with their goals.

In addition to her clinical work, Renee participates in research trials that seek to improve patients’ symptoms during heart failure management therapies.

In her free time, Renee enjoys running marathons.

I strive to meet patients where they are and support them on their journey. I look forward to seeing them thrive after transplant.
