Reginald Givens, MD

Reginald Givens, MD, is a UW Health psychiatrist. He treats hospitalized adults with a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and mental illnesses such as schizophrenia.

Dr. Givens specializes in providing care for people who have been hospitalized for various types of psychiatric disorders. He takes a collaborative approach to diagnosis and treatment, working closely with other doctors and specialists to address a broad spectrum of mental and physical health care concerns.

Dr. Givens applies his extensive scientific knowledge with compassionate and highly individualized therapeutic care to tailor treatment plans to each person’s needs.

When he is not treating patients, Dr. Givens enjoys fishing and watching football.

I chose to specialize in psychiatric medicine because it combines my interest in science with a desire to help people.
