Ravi Hirekatur, MD, is a UW Health family medicine physician. He’s also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He provides a wide range of primary health care services for patients of all ages. From newborn care to end-of-life support, Dr. Hirekatur offers comprehensive care to patients from all walks of life. He works with internal medicine and family medicine to treat a variety of acute (short-term) and chronic (long-term) health conditions. As an integrative medicine specialist, he blends traditional and holistic techniques to address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of his patients. As a firm believer in whole-person support, Dr. Hirekatur partners with patients to improve all aspects of their well-being. He takes time to understand their fears and expectations and works with them to make decisions about their health. Above all, he strives to treat his patients as family and deliver compassionate care. In his free time, Dr. Hirekatur enjoys nature and wildlife photography and meditation. I am dedicated to helping my patients balance their physical, mental and spiritual well-being so that they can achieve optimal health.
