About

Rachel Mifflin, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatrician. She's also a clinical associate professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Mifflin treats children of all ages, from birth to adolescence, with a variety of conditions. She provides comprehensive preventive care, including regular wellness visits, vaccines and routine screenings. Dr. Mifflin also treats a wide variety of acute (sudden) illnesses and injuries, such as infections, rashes and sprains. In addition, she helps patients manage chronic (long-term) conditions, such as asthma, eczema and allergies. And she cares for kids with mental health concerns, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety and depression.

Dr. Mifflin believes in creating meaningful connections with her patients. Her goal is to provide safe, thorough and compassionate care. She also includes her patients and families in the decision-making process about their treatment.

In her free time, Dr. Mifflin enjoys being outdoors, biking, running, sports, watercolor painting, pottery and spending time with her family.

I find deep purpose in building genuine relationships with my patients and their families to ensure they feel heard, supported and respected.
