About
Paige Valente is a UW Health speech language pathologist. She treats patients with voice and upper airway disorders, including chronic cough and breathing disorders related to a narrow upper airway. She typically works with singers and professional voice users who have voice disorders. Paige also provides gender-affirming voice care through her LGBTQA+ inclusive practice.
As a competitive singer, Paige has had a long-time interest in the anatomy and physiology of the voice. With a background in both psychology and speech pathology, Paige strives to establish an empathetic, comprehensive and compassionate approach with each patient. She advocates for them and offers hope and encouragement as she seeks to solve challenges related to voice and upper airway diseases.
Paige currently researches the role mental health plays in physical health related to the way the body perceives touch, pain, pressure and temperature.
Outside of the clinic, Paige enjoys singing, performing, playing with her dog, and practicing yoga and mindfulness.
I strive to provide holistic, patient-centered care by providing a safe, comfortable and supportive environment.
