Morgan White, MD

About

Morgan White, MD, is a UW Health family medicine doctor and an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She provides care to adults and children of all ages.

Dr. White treats both acute and chronic conditions, including everything from diabetes, high blood pressure, gynecologic care, depression and anxiety, to common viruses and seasonal illnesses. She provides prenatal care, supporting patients through pregnancy, childbirth and beyond.

Dr. White values the benefits of preventive care for her patients and considers ways to elevate that care going forward. Dr. White sees family medicine as a platform to address health care disparities affecting underserved communities, with a particular emphasis on the African American population.

Dr. White feels it’s essential to be on the same page as her patients. She creates care plans with the individual in mind to ensure they agree to the plan and have the means to follow through. She listens to her patients and encourages open dialogue so she can learn as much as possible about each person.

In her free time, Dr. White enjoys watching University of Michigan football, playing tennis and gardening.

My patients have the expertise of knowing their body, and I have expertise in medicine and health and wellness. We can work together to find a plan that makes the most sense for the patient.
