Molly Groose, MD, MS is a UW Health anesthesiologist and associate professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Groose focuses on transplant anesthesia and provides perioperative care (immediately before or after surgery) for people receiving liver transplants.
As an anesthesiologist, Dr. Groose provides pain management and sedation medicines for people before, during and after medical procedures.
In addition to her clinical and teaching roles, Dr. Goose conducts research focused on the anesthesiologist’s role in perioperative management to optimize outcomes for people undergoing liver transplant surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Groose enjoys running, biking and gardening.
