About

Michelle Minter, CCC-SLP, is a pediatric speech-language pathologist at UW Health Kids. Michelle specializes in evaluating and treating children with acute and chronic feeding and swallowing disorders. She commonly cares for children with other underlying medical conditions that contribute to these issues.

Michelle is passionate about helping children and families navigate challenging feeding experiences. With a background in inpatient pediatric care in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and general care settings, Michelle has experience caring for children experiencing acute and chronic communication, cognition and swallowing conditions. This helps provide her with an additional perspective while working with families after their child leaves the hospital.

Michelle is also a team member of the Cerebral Palsy Clinic and enjoys collaborating with colleagues to treat the “whole child” rather than the disorder.

My goal is to give families tools to help their children participate in meaningful, rewarding ways during mealtimes so it’s enjoyable for the entire family.
