Michael Hannaman, MD, is a UW Health anesthesiologist and clinical associate professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where he also serves as the director of the Transplant Anesthesiology Fellowship program.

Dr. Hannaman provides general anesthetic (pain management) care for patients before, during and after surgical procedures. With a special focus on solid organ transplant anesthesiology, he collaborates with surgeons and other specialists to ensure that patients receive comprehensive support during their transplant and recovery.

Dr. Hannaman strives to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. He applies the most advanced therapies to relieve his patient’s pain and bring them comfort as they heal.
