Michael Walsh, DO, is a rheumatologist at UW Health. He treats a wide range of rheumatologic and inflammatory autoimmune disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, Sjogren’s disease, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout and osteoporosis. Dr. Walsh’s clinical interests are inflammatory arthritis diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. He also treats musculoskeletal disorders and connective tissue diseases. In addition to his clinical practice, Michael is a clinical professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. In his free time, Michael enjoys being outdoors, skiing, cycling, hiking and walking. I became a rheumatologist to help patients with difficult medical conditions. There is nothing more rewarding than making an accurate diagnosis and helping patients solve their medical problems.
