Melanie Boly, MD, PhD

Melanie Boly, MD, is a UW Health neurologist and an associate professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy and other conditions that cause seizures and affect the brain and nervous system.

Dr. Boly cares for people with epilepsy and other seizure disorders. She evaluates patients using detailed medical histories, neurological exams and diagnostic testing to better understand their symptoms and identify the type and cause of their seizures. She develops personalized treatment plans that may include medications, lifestyle recommendations and other therapies to help control seizures and improve quality of life.
