About

Melanie Hall, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner who cares for women with gynecologic cancers. These cancers start in the female reproductive organs and include cancers of the ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, vulva and vagina. Melanie also cares for women with primary peritoneal cancer, which forms in the tissue that lines the abdominal wall and covers organs in the abdomen.

As a nurse practitioner, Melanie works to help patients understand their cancer diagnoses and navigate their treatment journeys. She explains how cancer affects their bodies and outlines their treatment options and what to expect from each one.

With compassion and kindness, Melanie listens to her patients’ concerns and makes sure they get all the information and resources they need to make the best decisions about their health care. Then, she helps tailor care plans to meet their individual needs.

Melanie’s goal is to help women live their lives to the fullest and have the experiences and relationships they want, despite their cancer.

During her free time, Melanie enjoys spending time with family and traveling.

I walk with women through their entire cancer journey — diagnosis, surgeries and treatment. I help them stay as healthy and comfortable as possible.
