About
Mary Bohne, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner. Mary works with a team of medical professionals to treat a variety of issues, including abdominal infections, appendicitis and other digestive system disorders. She also assists in removing soft tissue masses and provides wound care.
Mary offers compassionate care and focuses on the wishes of the patient and family.
One of Mary’s special interests is the Stop the Bleed program, which trains community members to identify and control life-threatening bleeding. She’s also interested in the early identification of sepsis. Patients with sepsis have a severe response to an infection, which puts them at risk for organ damage.
When not caring for patients, Mary enjoys family time, outdoor activities, gardening and travel.
