About

Madeleine Rapisarda, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner who specializes in urology. She provides care to patients with a variety of urinary and sexual health concerns and is committed to helping patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their treatment.

Madeleine sees patients for a wide range of urologic conditions. She works with men experiencing prostate growth, women with urinary incontinence and patients with neurogenic bladder caused by conditions like stroke, Parkinson’s disease or multiple sclerosis. She also has a special interest in urinary diversions, including urostomies and ileal conduits and supports patients undergoing life-changing surgeries. Her background as an ostomy nurse gives her a unique perspective and deep compassion for this patient population.

Madeleine believes in building strong relationships with her patients and providing holistic, patient-centered care. She strives to listen closely, educate clearly, and support patients through both physical and emotional healing. Her goal is to help patients feel better, live healthier lives, and feel empowered in their care decisions.

Outside of work, Madeleine enjoys cooking and is always working to improve her culinary skills. She also spends time working on her yard and gardening, even though she admits she’s still learning. These hobbies help her relax and recharge and reflect her love of learning and growth.

My goal is for people to feel better and well and live healthier lives. I hope we can build a good relationship and keep moving forward together.
