Luke Zurbriggen, MD

About

Luke Zurbriggen, MD, is a UW Health hematologist and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Division of Hematology/Oncology.

He treats blood conditions, including bleeding, blood clots and low or high blood count disorders. Dr. Zurbriggen’s clinical interest is in specific immune cell disorders that cause a buildup of white blood cells in tissues and organs.

His care philosophy is to get to know each of his patients. He wants to learn about their medical history, their fears and what is important to them. By working with the patient, Dr. Zurbriggen creates a treatment plan that addresses their values and goals.

In his free time, Dr. Zurbriggen enjoys spending time with his family.

The most rewarding part of my work is hearing patients and families say they feel comfortable and trust me to help them.
