About

Lucia Hurley, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner. She provides primary care services for adults living in long-term care facilities. She also sees people who are in rehabilitation centers after a hospital stay due to surgery, accidents or other health issues.

Lucia often focuses on geriatrics, the care of older adults. She offers routine checkups and treats illnesses and infections. She helps her patients manage chronic (ongoing) conditions, such as heart and kidney disease, high blood pressure, breathing issues and diabetes. As needed, she coordinates care for patients who need X-rays, ultrasounds and lab services.

To help her patients heal, Lucia takes a holistic approach. She cares about her patients’ overall well-being, including their physical, mental and emotional health.

As a nurse practitioner, I enjoy helping people manage complex health issues. I work to help them feel better and function more easily so they can enjoy life.
