Leslie Goodavish, PA, LAT, is a UW Health physician assistant in orthopedics and rehabilitation. She specializes in sports medicine.
Leslie treats patients of all ages with bone, muscle and joint injuries. She primarily focuses on sports-related injuries. Leslie also assists patients who have experienced work-related injuries and other accidents. From preoperative care to post-surgical support, Leslie ensures that her patients remain safe and healthy throughout their treatment and recovery.
Additionally, Leslie performs minimally invasive procedures like knee and shoulder injections to help manage her patients' pain.
Leslie strives to make a difference in her patients’ lives, from teen athletes recovering from injuries to weekend warriors with post-race pain. Leslie provides whole-person care. She takes time to understand where her patients are coming from and what they want to accomplish. Through open communication and educational resources, she empowers patients to make decisions about their health.
Outside of work, Leslie enjoys traveling, outdoor activities and spending time with her children.
I love seeing patients get back to what they enjoy most — whether it's being active again or simply feeling better with less pain. That’s the most rewarding part.
