About

Lashika Yogendran, MD, is a family medicine doctor at UW Health and an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. Dr. Yogendran provides care for patients of all ages including management of chronic health conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, coronary artery disease and heart failure. Dr. Yogendran also provides prenatal care and gender-affirming health services.

Dr. Yogendran was drawn to family medicine because it allows her the opportunity to care for diverse types of patients and to provide care across the lifespan. She enjoys getting to know her patients, establishing long-term relationships and helping them become the best versions of themselves.

Born in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Yogendran has lived in a host of countries and cities. She has a passion for global health and has volunteered in hospitals and clinics around the world.

Outside of work, Dr. Yogendran enjoys reading, trivia, playing with her cat, cheering on the Chicago Cubs, biking and exploring new restaurants and breweries.

My goal as a doctor is to make sure my patients have all the knowledge they need to make the best decisions for themselves.
