Kayla Christensen, PA

Kayla Christensen, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant in urgent care.

Kayla evaluates and diagnoses symptoms and treats chronic (ongoing) and acute (sudden) illnesses. She helps patients recover from injuries, infections, sprains, strains, fractures and other medical and health concerns. She also helps patients manage ongoing conditions such as high blood pressure, asthma, bronchitis and allergies.

In addition to treatments for illnesses and injuries, Kayla provides personalized preventive education and care. She ensures that patients and their families or care providers understand their condition and care plan. Her goal is to help patients heal and stay in their best possible health.

I chose the medical profession because I love science and the opportunity to help people with a variety of health care concerns.
