About
Kathryn McComb, PA, is a physician assistant providing care for people of all ages. She sees patients at UW Health urgent care for treatment of conditions that are not life-threatening such as sprains, cuts and bruises. Kate is also the director of Advanced Practice Providers for UW Health where she enjoys guiding her colleagues in their roles.
Kate enjoys meeting new patients and helping them receive the right level of care. She became a physician assistant more than 20 years ago after serving as a medic in the United States Army. In this role, she cared for soldiers, airmen and sailors. From there, she transitioned into urgent care at UW Health while continuing to serve part-time in the Army National Guard. Today, she enjoys meeting people who are grateful for the care she provides at UW Health.
In her free time, Kate enjoys gardening, snowboarding, wake surfing, reading and travel.
