Jonathan Thayer, NP

Jonathan Thayer, NP, is a nurse practitioner at UW Health in the Trauma and Life Support Center (TLC) located at University Hospital. He treats patients in intensive care suffering from pneumonia, liver disease, GI bleeds and other serious conditions.

Jonathan works to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients — a population navigating a particularly challenging health care journey. He also strives to be a source of support for patients’ families and to include them in choices regarding their loved one’s care.

Outside of work, Mr. Thayer enjoys woodworking and watching football, especially when his favorite teams – the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Kansas City Chiefs – are on the field.
