J. Igor Iruretagoyena, MD, is a maternal-fetal medicine doctor at UW Health and a professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health where he serves as the director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Dr. Iruretagoyena provides specialized care for high-risk pregnancies. He strives to build strong relationships with each of his patients based on respect and open communication. He collaborates with other specialists, including pediatricians, cardiologists and surgeons, to promote the best outcomes for both the pregnant patient and their baby. 

Outside of work, Dr. Iruretagoyena enjoys traveling, learning about new places and trying the local cuisine.
