Jessica Kim, NP

Jessica Kim, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner in general surgery. She cares for people who need surgery for abdominal illnesses, wounds and other medical issues related to the gastrointestinal (GI) system. The GI system includes the throat, esophagus, stomach, intestines and rectum.

Jessica works closely with surgeons to diagnose, treat and provide follow-up care for her patients.

She has a strong background in trauma care, treating people with sudden injuries or illnesses that need immediate attention.

To provide the best treatment, Jessica believes it’s important to get to know her patients and learn about their lives. She offers patient-centered care. This means she helps people understand their medical diagnoses and make informed decisions about their treatment.

Jessica is also board certified in adult gerontology acute care.

I became a nurse practitioner to support people in need. I’m open and honest with patients. I help them make good decisions for their care.
