Jessica Young, MD, is a UW Health internal medicine doctor and an associate clinical professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Dr. Young cares for hospitalized adults who have survived long and complicated hospitalizations, or neurological conditions like stroke, or organ transplantation, then require rehabilitation. She manages complex medical problems and diagnoses issues as needed to allow her patients at the UW Rehabilitation Hospital to focus on gaining the strength and skills to safely transition home.
As part of a multispecialty team, Dr. Young takes a collaborative approach to patient care. She is attentive to each patient’s personal preferences and works with patients to enhance their medical care and general well-being.
In her free time, Dr. Young enjoys running, baking and travel. She also participates in a book club and volunteers for community meal-delivery services.
