About

Jessica Gutierrez is a UW Health behavioral health therapist. She treats older adolescent and adult patients with mental health concerns. These concerns include anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, developmental trauma and chronic stress. Jessica uses a variety of treatments in her therapy sessions, including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. She specializes in treating teenagers, young adults and families.

It’s important to Jessica that her patients have a voice in their treatment. She understands therapy can make people feel vulnerable. Jessica works with her patients to create personalized treatment plans that allow for gradual and continued progress. She enjoys working with patients from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Outside the clinic, Jessica is a professional watercolor artist who enjoys painting, being in nature and spending time with her family.

I believe in providing a warm and welcoming environment that allows my patients to feel like they can be themselves.
