Jennifer White, NP

Jennifer White, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner who specializes in inpatient diabetes management.

Jennifer works with hospitalized patients who have diabetes and stress-induced or medicine-induced hyperglycemia (high blood sugar). She helps optimize their blood sugar (glycemic) levels during their hospital stay.

Jennifer is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based care to every patient. She was drawn to medicine because she values the opportunity to help people in times of need. Jennifer enjoys partnering with patients to create diabetes management regimens that best suit their individual needs and preferences.

Outside of work, Jennifer appreciates being outdoors in nature. Her favorite place to escape is her family cabin in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.

I enjoy teaching patients the art and science of treating and managing diabetes.
