Jenna Torgeson, NP

Jenna Torgeson, NP, is a UW Health Kids nurse practitioner who specializes in cardiovascular medicine.

Jenna cares for children with congenital heart disease, irregular heartbeat problems and those who require pacemakers or defibrillators. She has a special interest in pediatric electrophysiology, which focuses on how the heart’s electrical system works. She helps diagnose and manage abnormal heart rhythms and supports children before and after heart surgery.

Jenna believes family-centered care is essential in pediatrics. She takes time to listen to children and their families, explain complex heart conditions in clear language and involve parents in care decisions. Her goal is to reduce stress, provide education and help families feel confident and supported throughout their child’s care.

Outside of work, Jenna enjoys camping, hiking and spending time on the water with her family. She and her family enjoy exploring Wisconsin state parks and making memories outdoors.
