Jeffrey Kanne, MD, is a UW Health radiologist and professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health where he also serves as the section chief as well as the fellowship director for thoracic imaging. Dr. Kanne interprets image studies of the chest to determine lung disease and infections.
Dr. Kanne is skilled in interpreting a range of imaging studies, including x-rays, cat scans (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). His area of expertise includes reviewing images for interstitial lung disease, lung infections, pulmonary vascular disease and occupational lung disease.
Dr. Kanne provides the highest quality of care for all patients through detailed review of their imaging studies and consultation with their physicians. Dr. Kanne conducts research on lung disease imaging and how imaging can best be used for diagnosis and treatment evaluation.
In his free time, Dr. Kanne enjoys listening to music, practicing yoga, gardening, being outdoors and traveling.
