About

Jeffrey Huebner, MD, is a UW Health family medicine doctor and an associate clinical professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Huebner cares for adults and children of all ages. He diagnoses and treats both acute (sudden) and chronic (long-term) conditions, including sore throat, cough, ear infection, asthma, depression, diabetes, anxiety, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and congestive heart disease. He performs cancer screenings and refers patients to the proper specialists for additional care.

With a clinical interest in sports medicine, Dr. Huebner also treats people with musculoskeletal injuries affecting bones, joints, muscles and tendons. He offers joint injections to help patients heal when needed.

Dr. Huebner believes it’s important to build trusting relationships with his patients. With skill and compassion, he helps patients overcome illnesses and reach their health and wellness goals.

Dr. Huebner is dedicated to improving access to community health and addiction recovery services, and serves as chief medical officer for the Wisconsin Medicaid Program.

In his free time, Dr. Huebner enjoys hiking, traveling, visiting national parks, playing sports and spending time with family.
