About

Jason Brant, MD, is a UW Health otolaryngologist (earn, nose and throat specialist). He specializes in otology and neurotology, which means he focuses on ear-related conditions and surgeries involving the side of the skull. Dr. Brant is also an associate professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where he takes part in research and teaching.

Dr. Brant’s main medical focus is helping people with hearing problems. He treats patients with hearing loss, balance issues and ear infections. He performs surgeries such as repairing eardrums, removing infections and placing cochlear implants for those who cannot benefit from hearing aids. He also works closely with neurosurgeons on complex cases involving the skull and brain.

When caring for patients, Dr. Brant believes in teamwork and listening. He takes time to explain all treatment options and helps patients choose what works best for their lives. He believes that every patient’s goals are important and works with them to make sure they feel heard and supported throughout their care.

Outside of work, Dr. Brant enjoys sailing. He grew up around boats and is now trying to spend more time on the water through local sailing programs. He also enjoys spending time with his family, including his two children, who keep him busy and active.

My approach to taking care of patients is to really make sure they feel heard. Their goals are our goals, and we work as a team to get them where they want to be.
